Cassina continues its exploration and research of Le Corbusier vast collection of work with a study of creations by the great architect and designer from the 1950’s. Wood is the underlying theme, a material Le Corbusier embraced once he reached full artistic maturity. After spending most of his career focusing on modern materials he began exploring with wood in the 1950’s. Cassina has reproduced selected pieces from this period and made them available for the first time since their inception. Please join us for an introductory presentation and evening celebrating the wonderful pieces from this period.
